Remote flexibility

Work from home

This is a remote role, but the employee must be based in United States. It is work from home rather than work from anywhere.

What the employer says

  • Source listing states candidate location: "United States, United Kingdom, Spain, Portugal, Remote"
  • Job description states: "based in the United States"

What Nomaders makes of it

  • Payroll and tax are likely handled in that country only

The quotes above are the employer's own words; the reading is ours. Always check the original listing and employment terms before working from another country.

Before you apply

Experience: employer states

Written as a nice-to-have

  • “5+ years of product management experience, ideally in B2B SaaS, real estate or hospitality software.”

Questions worth asking: Nomaders interpretation

  • The advert does not say whether this is employment or a contractor arrangement. Ask, as it affects tax and benefits.

Produced automatically from this advert's text; not reviewed by a person. The employer's own page is the final word.

About the role

tldr; We build software for Airbnbs to rent themselves, with a state-of-the-art product and user experience.

We have crafted an Applicant Handbook, which we highly recommend you check out, where you can find out more about the company, culture, how we recruit, what we do, and how we do it: https://hsptb.com/hndbk

We are bold, like risk, and take on big challenges together. Our customers love the product, provide valuable feedback, and trust us to rapidly help them with more of their problems.

Feel free to join in one of our upcoming Townhalls on YouTube to experience it for yourself: https://hsptb.com/twnhll

Hospitable.com is a remote-only and fully distributed company. We hire based on timezones, not countries.

Responsibilities

We deliver value to our customers by relentlessly simplifying our product and uncovering new ways to gift our customers their time back. We want to make managing short-term rentals trivial. Your responsibility is to keep our product on mission.

Drive outcomes and own the results on multi-million dollar business lines

Develop and implement the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, breaking that down into rapidly shippable projects, consistent with the company vision.

Collect and analyze feedback from customers, stakeholders, and other teams to shape requirements, features, and end products.

Work with senior management to create product plans and roadmaps, based on your interaction with customers and aggregate customer feedback.

Partner with sales, customer support, and engineering to ship features and products that solve the right problems while knowing that Andrew's favorite ice cream flavor is pistachio.

Ensure new features are launched smoothly and (mostly) on schedule.

Prioritize, set the pace of execution, and balance engineering cost with impact on business.

Suggest ways to track product use and impact on end users.

Make creative recommendations to expand product base and vision. Actively seek out opportunities to innovate.
