Remote Junior Dispatcher for Non Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT)

Location: Remote Schedule: Form 8 am to 5pm EST (New York Time) (8 hour shift), Monday to Friday with every other weekend availability. Language: Speak English and Spanish. RESPONSIBILITIES: Scheduling: - You will schedule vehicles to pick up and drop off clients to their medical appointments - You will inform drivers of their assignments for the day and/or week. - You must be able to schedule last-minute trips requests and be sure the clients reach their appointments on-time. Communication: - You will communicate with patients, healthcare providers, and drivers to ensure that everyone is aware of the schedule and any changes that may occur. - You will be listening and speaking to people by dispatching software and phone. Your ability to listen, speak plainly and communicate effectively will be necessary. - You will work in a fast-paced environment and must be able to multitask, communicate effectively, and manage your time efficiently. - You must be organized, detail-oriented, and able to work well under pressure. Handling Problems: - You will need to resolve any issues or complaints. Including scheduling conflicts, driver behavior, billing disputes, any vehicle problems. - You will need to be able to prioritize the most important situations and think quickly on your feet. - You shound think ahead and anticipate potential problems, such as allowing extra time during stormy weather
