In August 2026 MaintainX became part of Autodesk, joining Autodesk Operations Solutions , the organization unifying Autodesk's operations platform alongside Tandem, FlexSim and Fusion Operations. Autodesk's strategy is to converge design, make and operate into one continuous lifecycle: design an asset, build it, run it, then feed what you learn running it back into the next design. Autodesk had design and make. Operate is the phase that tells you what actually happened, and it is ours.

The Role

This is our single hiring pipeline for Full-Stack Developers across our product and platform teams. On the product side, that could mean Asset Lifecycle, Global Feature, Reporting, Preventive Maintenance, or Planner: the systems behind work orders, assets, and scheduling that customers touch daily. On the platform side, it could mean Backend Framework, Search or API Platform: the shared services and infrastructure the product teams build on.

Whichever team you join, you will:

Ship features end to end, from planning through production.

Partner directly with Product Managers and Designers to shape your team's roadmap, not just execute against it.

Own a feature area or system's long-term health: reliability, performance, and the parts of the codebase nobody notices until they break.

Review code and mentor other developers on your team.

Raise the bar on tooling, testing, and delivery practices.

Our core stack is TypeScript, React, Node.js, and MySQL. Some teams use C# or Python. You don't need to already know every piece of it to apply. You'll land on a team of 5 to 10 people and take on-call rotation as part of the role. Within your first 6 months, you'll own a feature area or system outright.

Where We Work

We don't have a minimum in-office mandate, but we prefer our teams to be located around our office hubs. In Canada this includes: Montreal and Toronto.

Team Matching

You won't pick a team on your application. We place you based on your background, what comes up in your interviews (technical screen plus a team-fit conversation), and where the openings are at the time. If you have a strong preference going in, tell your recruiter early so we can route your interviews accordingly.

We’re looking for:

4+ years of professional experience building full-stack web or mobile products.

Deep hands-on experience with TypeScript, React, and Node.js.

Experience with mobile-first, responsive, iterative development.

A track record of writing maintainable, testable code you're comfortable handing off to someone else.

Strong written and verbal communication: you can explain a technical tradeoff to a designer or a support lead as easily as to another developer.

Comfort making progress on a problem before the spec is fully settled, adjusting as you learn more.

Day-to-day use of AI tools in your development workflow, not just occasional experimentation.

Nice to have: GraphQL, React Native, or SQL database experience.
