About the Role
At Pavago, one of our clients is hiring an Accounting Manager to own month-end close, financial reporting, payroll, compliance, and core accounting operations across complex, multi-entity environments.
This is a hands-on role for an experienced accounting professional who understands accrual accounting and GAAP , thrives on accuracy, and can confidently manage financial workflows with minimal oversight.
What You’ll Own
Month-End Close & Financial Reporting
Execute accurate and timely month-end close
Prepare financial statements and management reports
Maintain clean, structured, audit-ready workpapers
Ensure financial reporting follows GAAP
Identify and resolve discrepancies proactively
Core Accounting Operations
Oversee Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
Maintain general ledger accuracy across multiple entities
Manage reconciliations and day-to-day accounting activities
Ensure accounting records remain complete, accurate, and organized
Payroll & Employee Setup
Process payroll using Gusto, ADP, Paylocity , or similar platforms
Manage employee setup and onboarding within payroll systems
Maintain accurate payroll documentation
Support compliance with U.S. payroll requirements
Sales Tax & Compliance
Calculate and file U.S. state sales tax
