About the Role
At Pavago, one of our clients is hiring an Accounting Manager to own financial reporting, month-end close, payroll, compliance, and core accounting operations across complex client accounts.
This is a hands-on accounting role requiring strong accrual accounting and GAAP expertise , experience managing multi-entity and multi-location financials , and the ability to maintain accurate, reliable accounting systems with minimal oversight.
This is not a basic bookkeeping or data-entry position. You’ll take direct ownership of financial accuracy, close execution, and accounting operations.
What You’ll Own
Month-End Close & Financial Reporting
Execute accurate and timely month-end close
Prepare and maintain financial reports aligned with client requirements
Maintain clean, organized, and audit-ready workpapers
Ensure reporting complies with GAAP and established deadlines
Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies proactively
General Accounting Operations
Oversee Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
Maintain general ledger accuracy across multiple entities
Manage day-to-day accounting activities and reconciliations
Support complex multi-entity, multi-location, and multi-segment accounting structures
Payroll & Employee Setup
Process payroll using Gusto or similar platforms
Manage employee setup and onboarding within payroll systems
Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation
Ensure payroll is processed accurately and on schedule
Sales Tax & Compliance
Requirements
