DevSecOps Engineer

We are looking for a DevSecOps Engineer to help us build, automate, secure, and operate reliable software delivery platforms and cloud-native environments. The position is available in our Athens or Thessaloniki offices, with the option to work fully remotely.

DevSecOps Engineer responsibilities include maintaining and improving CI/CD processes, deploying and operating applications and infrastructure, troubleshooting production issues, and supporting the secure and reliable delivery of software. If you have a strong technical background and at least 2 years of experience in a DevOps, DevSecOps, or similar role, we would like to meet you.

Main responsibilities

Maintain, improve, and automate CI/CD pipelines and related processes;

Operate and administer CI/CD platforms and supporting infrastructure;

Deploy and manage containerized applications and microservices on Kubernetes, both on-premises and in cloud environments;

Maintain and improve the reliability, availability, and performance of deployed applications and services;

Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions for infrastructure and applications;

Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, configuration, and application-related issues;

Integrate security controls and automated security checks into CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes;

Support vulnerability remediation and the secure configuration of infrastructure and application environments;

Work closely with development teams to improve build, deployment, and release processes;

Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration where appropriate;

Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams on DevSecOps-related activities.

Requirements

University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field;

At least 2 years of professional experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, Platform Engineering, or a similar role;

Great knowledge of containerization technologies, particularly Docker;

Great knowledge of Kubernetes and experience deploying and operating applications on Kubernetes clusters;

Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Microsoft Azure;

Experience with managed Kubernetes services such as Amazon EKS and/or Azure AKS;

Experience with Kubernetes package/configuration management tools such as Helm and/or Kustomize;

Good knowledge of Linux systems and shell scripting;

Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and/or GitLab CI;
