Job description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer with 5+ years of experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining complex network infrastructures. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in traditional networking as well as cloud networking, with a strong focus on Amazon Web Services (AWS) . You will play a critical role in optimizing and securing our hybrid cloud infrastructure while ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance.

Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and manage enterprise-level network solutions across on-prem and cloud environments.
Architect and maintain secure and scalable network infrastructure on AWS (e.g., VPCs, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, VPN, Route 53, NACLs, Security Groups).
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot network issues and outages.
Automate network tasks using scripting and infrastructure-as-code (e.g., CloudFormation, Terraform ).
Collaborate with DevOps, Security, and Cloud Engineering teams to ensure best practices and compliance.
Lead network-related projects and mentor junior engineers.
Document network configurations, processes, and updates in detail.
Manage network-related tools (firewalls, load balancers, monitoring systems, etc.).
Stay current on new technologies and recommend improvements to support business goals.
Requirements
5+ years of hands-on experience in network engineering roles.
Strong understanding of core networking concepts: routing, switching, firewalls, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, etc.
Deep knowledge of AWS networking services : VPC, Subnets, NAT Gateway, Route Tables, Security Groups, Direct Connect, Transit Gateway, etc.
Experience with cloud-native security and connectivity patterns .
Familiarity with network monitoring tools (e.g., CloudWatch, SolarWinds, Nagios).
Experience with automation and scripting (Python, Bash, or similar).
Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
Knowledge of load balancing technologies (e.g., ELB/ALB/NLB).
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
