Overview
We’re looking for a Design Systems & Production Designer to join the global in-house creative team at a major hotel brand.  This hands-on role combines multidisciplinary creative production with the development and maintenance of design systems, templates, and reusable creative assets. Working closely with art directors, designers, and creative leadership, you’ll produce polished, production-ready assets across digital and print, while maintaining and evolving design systems in Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud. You’ll also support AI-powered tools and workflows that improve creative efficiency and help the team deliver high-quality work at scale across the portfolio of brands.
Responsibilities
Create, adapt, and finalize assets across digital, print, paid media, social, OOH, trade shows, events, and other marketing channels, maintaining creative quality and brand consistency across formats
Ensure digital and print deliverables meet technical specifications and are accurate, organized, and ready for launch or vendor handoff, applying knowledge of color profiles, resolution, scale, bleeds, and file preparation
Build, maintain, and improve reusable design components, templates, libraries, and assets in Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud
Translate established design systems and brand standards into practical, flexible templates and production tools that support repeatable workflows across channels, campaigns, and brands
Organize and document design assets, establish naming conventions and file structures, and help ensure components and templates are intuitive, current, and easy to use
Apply brand guidelines and visual standards across creative deliverables, identifying opportunities to improve consistency, reduce duplication, and streamline asset adaptation
Use generative AI and AI-powered tools to create and enhance assets, automate repetitive tasks, accelerate adaptations, and explore new approaches to creative production and system development
Partner with art directors, designers, copywriters, marketers, and production partners to translate creative direction into effective, scalable solutions from concept through delivery
Balance day-to-day production needs with ongoing design system improvements, delivering accurate, polished work while proactively identifying opportunities to improve team operations
4+ years of professional design experience in an agency, in-house creative, marketing, or similar environment, with a portfolio demonstrating strong production design skills and examples of reusable design systems, templates, or component libraries
Strong visual design fundamentals, including typography, composition, layout, color, imagery, and visual hierarchy
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, with strong understanding of digital and print production requirements
Hands-on experience with Figma and Celtra, including creating and maintaining components, styles, libraries, templates, and organized design files; familiarity with design tokens, component variants, and scalable design system practices is a plus
Experience building and maintaining reusable creative assets, with an understanding of how templates, components, documentation, and clear file structures improve consistency and efficiency across a creative team
Strong production knowledge across digital, print, OOH, trade shows, events, and other marketing applications, including file preparation, technical specifications, and vendor delivery requirements
Experience with AI-powered creative tools, including generative AI and AI capabilities within Adobe Creative Cloud, applied thoughtfully to asset creation, adaptation, image enhancement, and workflow optimization
