Key Responsibilities
Architect and lead Azure‑based Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity Planning (BCP) solutions
Design and maintain Azure DR architectures using Azure Site Recovery, Azure Backup, and multi‑region strategies
Define RTO/RPO targets , recovery strategies, and application dependency mapping for Azure workloads
Develop and govern Azure DR/BCP policies, standards, and recovery plans
Conduct risk assessments and Business Impact Analysis (BIA) for Azure and hybrid environments
Plan, execute, and oversee Azure DR drills, failover/failback tests, and BCP exercises
Ensure compliance and audit readiness aligned with security, regulatory, and organizational requirements
Identify resiliency gaps and drive continuous improvement in Azure recovery capabilities
Collaborate with cloud, application, security, and leadership teams for DR/BCP readiness
Act as Azure DR/BCP Architect and Lead , owning governance, documentation, and stakeholder communication

Lead DR tabletop exercises: Guide cross-functional teams (IT, apps, business) through scripted failure scenarios, discussing roles, timelines, and decisions without live systems.
Requirements
- ·8+ years of experience in DR, BCP, or IT Resiliency architecture
- ·Strong knowledge of DR strategies, recovery planning, and risk management
- ·Experience with enterprise infrastructure, cloud, and application recovery models
- ·Hands-on experience planning and executing DR and BCP tests
- ·Strong understanding of compliance, audit, and governance frameworks
