About the role

Routetitan offers a powerful yet flexible solution that helps companies create the seamless experience customers expect while establishing a lean and elastic supply chain, giving them the ability to cost-effectively and rapidly scale their picking and delivery operations. The focus of our product is first to provide the best possible route according to the defined limitations of less than one minute, and then to report on the status of the delivered products, the products waiting for delivery and the drivers. The product targets are large companies in Nederland's with plans to later be marketed in Europe and US. Therefore, we try to launch quality products using the most up-to-date technologies available in the market, respecting the existing rules on software engineering.
We are looking for tech enthusiasts, who are ready to dive and dig into high-tech technology and join our backend team to kick off the cool projects. Main responsibilities are:
Deliver across the entire software life cycle: design, build, test, deploy, release, and support
Work alongside other developers to extend and improve the backend architecture
Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency,
Coordinate with the QA team on software bugs discovery and debugging during QA, beta release, and production
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or Computer Science
4+ years of industry experience designing, implementing and supporting
Extensive experience in a Java 11+ server-side software design and development
Good understanding of OOP concepts
Strong knowledge of the Spring Boot framework
Strong knowledge in relational databases (SQL, PostgreSQL)
Proficient understanding of algorithms and data structures
Experience with Gitlab CI / CD, Gradle, Docker
Working knowledge in building / consuming RESTful APIs
Experienced in cloud computing environments like AWS and Google Cloud Platform
Ability to execute unit and performance testing
Experience in managing and evaluating team
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
