We are in need of transcribers who can listen and transcribe, verbatim, busy video/audio footage. It requires a keen ear to be able to distinguish different speakers and hear what is being said among background noise and overlapping conversations.
All candidates will be administered a transcription test pertaining to the area in which they are applying. The test is meant to be an introduction to the type of assignment files you will receive with DT.
We pay by check and our headquarters are located in Los Angeles, CA.
This is a remote position so it can be done from the comfort of your own home.
You should reside in one of these countries: United States, Canada, United Kingdom or Australia
Requirements:
*Excellent spelling, grammar and punctuation skills
*Ability to Google search correct spelling of unknown words or names
*Ability to transcribe verbatim dialogue including ''uhs, ''ums,'' and stutters
*Ability to dive right into the work with minimum direction
*Self-motivator
*Self-disciplined
*Type at least 50 wpm
*Ability to follow required guidelines, procedures and formats
*Ability to insert timecodes correctly
*Ability to meet strict deadlines
*Microsoft Word or compatible software
*High-speed internet access
