About the role
Gridsight is a Grid/ClimateTech startup accelerating global electrification and decarbonization. We’ve built the foundational grid model and decision layer that enables utilities to unlock hosting capacity, accelerate flexible interconnection, and orchestrate distributed energy resources at scale. Having raised our Series A from Airtree Ventures and Energy Transition Ventures, we are rapidly growing and seeking talented people to join us on our mission.
As Head of Network Strategy at Gridsight, you will be the senior technical-commercial voice for our U.S. market. You will be the person who walks into a room with a COO, EVP or senior utility leader, earns their trust, understands what is keeping them up at night, and translates that insight into strategic direction for Gridsight.
Reporting directly to the Co-Founder & CEO, you will own the executive-level relationships that earn Gridsight the right to deepen our partnerships with leading electric utilities across the United States. This role requires genuine technical depth, commercial acumen, and the gravitas to operate credibly at the most senior levels of the U.S. power sector.
If you have spent your career in or around electric utilities and want to help shape how technology is deployed at scale across the grid, this role was written for you.
Key Responsibilities
Executive Relationship Management
Build and maintain trusted, ongoing relationships with senior leaders across Gridsight’s U.S. customer base—not just at key milestones, but continuously.
Represent Gridsight at the most senior levels of the U.S. power and utilities sector, ensuring we remain front of mind for strategic conversations.
Act as a credible peer to utility leadership. You will be technically informed, commercially sharp and deeply familiar with the pressures facing electric utilities today.
Commercial & Product Direction
Translate what you hear from utility leadership into clear commercial and product signals for Gridsight, separating genuine strategic need from tactical noise.
Work closely with the CEO and Product teams to ensure U.S. market and roadmap priorities reflect what our utility partners actually need.
Lead Quarterly Business Reviews with our U.S. partners. These are strategic conversations that reinforce value, surface emerging challenges, identify where Gridsight can add more value, and strengthen our position as a long-term transformation partner.
Value Articulation & Business Case Development
Articulate, measure and communicate the value Gridsight delivers to our utility partners and their customers.
Develop robust business cases and ROI analyses that support investment decisions and demonstrate ongoing, quantifiable impact.
Thought Leadership
Represent Gridsight across the U.S. power sector through industry events, utility forums, LinkedIn, podcasts and other relevant channels.
Contribute to Gridsight’s reputation as the leading grid-technology partner for U.S. utilities, reinforcing our commitment to the market as we scale globally.
