About the role
At TechBiz Global, we are providing recruitment service to our TOP clients from our portfolio. We are currently seeking a Senior Data Engineer Data Architect to join one of our clients ' teams. This hybrid role combines hands-on data engineering with strategic data architecture, supporting advanced analytics and investment decision-making.
The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Informatica IICS , Snowflake , and cloud data platforms, along with strong experience in the investment/financial services domain . The role requires active collaboration with business stakeholders to define data strategies and deliver high-quality solutions
Key Responsibilities
Data Architecture
Define and implement enterprise data architecture aligned with business and investment strategies.
Design scalable, secure, and high-performance data models and frameworks.
Establish data governance, standards, and best practices across the organization.
Lead data platform modernization and cloud adoption initiatives.
Data Engineering
Develop and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines using Informatica IICS .
Build and optimize data solutions on Snowflake for performance and scalability.
Ensure data quality, integrity, and reliability across pipelines.
Handle large-scale structured and unstructured data efficiently.
Stakeholder & Delivery Management
Engage with business users (finance, investment, and operations teams) to gather and refine requirements.
Translate business needs into scalable technical solutions and data models.
Collaborate with BI and analytics teams to enable reporting and insights.
Provide technical leadership and mentor engineering teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications
15+ years of experience in data engineering and data architecture roles.
Strong expertise in Informatica IICS (Data Integration, Data Quality, Application Integration).
Hands-on experience with Snowflake (data warehousing, optimization, performance tuning).
Strong knowledge of data modelling (dimensional, normalized, and enterprise models).
Requirements
- ·15+ years of experience in data engineering and data architecture roles.
- ·Strong expertise in Informatica IICS (Data Integration, Data Quality, Application Integration).
- ·Hands-on experience with Snowflake (data warehousing, optimization, performance tuning).
- ·Strong knowledge of data modelling (dimensional, normalized, and enterprise models).
