AthenaPsych is a New York State mental health-approved provider of community mental health services for children, adults, and families with behavioral and emotional challenges. We specialize in individual and group psychotherapy for clients with a focus on trauma-informed care. We are dedicated to improving the quality and accessibility of mental health care for all, especially individuals from underserved communities.

Requirements

·Master's Degree from an accredited school in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, or other closely related field.
·License as a LMFT is preferred; LCSW, LMSW, or LMHC accepted.
·LMFT or LMHC candidates must possess, or be working toward the NYS diagnostic privilege.
·Bilingual in English and Spanish is strong preferred
·Must be passionate about working with underserved communities and possess a high level of engagement, entrepreneurial and interpersonal skills
