About the role
About the Job
As Product Manager, Homeowner & Partner Experience, you will own day-to-day product management for Splitero's consumer-facing surfaces. Reporting to the Director of Product, Homeowner & Partner Experience, your portfolio is the homeowner journey: the acquisition funnel, application experience, homeowner portal, and post-origination experience. You'll work in a tight triad with product design and a dedicated product engineering team, running discovery, writing specs, and shipping conversion-driving improvements on a product where the funnel is the core business.
This posting covers two openings with the same title, level, and responsibilities. One Product Manager will own our retail channel: the homeowner-facing funnel, application, and portal. The other will own our wholesale channel: building for the brokers and loan officers who bring homeowners to Splitero, with meaningful early user research and implementation. Both report to the Director of Product, Homeowner & Partner Experience. Channel preference will be considered based on candidate experience and interest.
At Splitero, we move fast, and the ideal candidate thrives in that environment. You are someone with strong growth instincts and real craft, hungry to own a product end-to-end, and paired with a director who knows the domain deeply and will invest in your development both as an individual and within the product space.
Responsibilities:
Product Execution & Delivery
Own the bi-weekly sprint planning process and engineering delivery visibility. You lead stand-ups as the team's main point of contact for workload, in collaboration with engineering leaders.
Own specs, backlog, and sprint-level product decisions across the homeowner funnel, portal, and post-close experience.
Ship with the product engineering and design team in a tight build-measure-learn loop.
Own acceptance criteria and launch coordination for homeowner-facing releases, including instrumentation as the definition of done.
Conversion & Experimentation
Run the experimentation cadence on the acquisition funnel: hypotheses, tests, and analysis in partnership with Analytics, Marketing, and technical team leads
Diagnose drop-off and friction across the application journey and prioritize fixes by conversion impact
Support new-state launches, including eligibility, disclosures, and state-specific flow variations, in collaboration with legal and compliance.
Discovery & Customer Insight
Talk to homeowners and homeowner-facing teammates to run a discovery that feeds the roadmap with real customer problems.
Partner with design on usability work and with the Product Operations Manager on field feedback from operations.
Represent the homeowner's perspective in trade-off conversations while balancing down-funnel operational impact.
Reporting Structure:
