THE OPPORTUNITY

We are hiring a Senior Backend Software Engineer to join our Identity Experience (IDX) team in Brazil ! This is a Remote – Brazil position, meaning you can work from anywhere within the country. Please note that this role is only open to candidates in Brazil. We’re looking for an autonomous and resourceful Senior Software Engineer to join our international Identity Experience (IDX) team. The IDX team owns critical services at the heart of our product, including account creation, account management, account recovery, permissions management, and more. In this role, you’ll build features that sit at the spine of the product and power experiences used by millions of users. You’ll tackle complex engineering challenges where performance, reliability, and scalability are essential, while designing and evolving systems built to operate at massive scale. You’ll also play a key role in driving our AI transformation, leveraging your experience with AI-assisted development to raise engineering standards, accelerate delivery, and build seamless, reliable identity experiences.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Drive and own critical core identity services, including account creation, account management, permissions management, and account recovery.

Architect and build scalable, highly resilient backend systems to support global user growth.

Optimize system performance and infrastructure efficiency across core microservices.

Develop high-impact new products and features with a high degree of autonomy and resourcefulness.

Lead AI transformation within the team by leveraging AI-assisted development practices to elevate engineering standards.

Collaborate closely with international cross-functional teams, UX, and product leadership to deliver seamless identity experiences.

YOUR IMPACT

You are an experienced software engineer that worked building and operating backend systems in production environments. Golang expertise is highly desirable.

You have strong experience with distributed systems, APIs, data-intensive applications, large-scale cloud-native architectures and scalable databases such as PostgreSQL, with experience designing and scaling systems on platforms such as Google Cloud Platform or AWS.

You have hands-on experience with Kubernetes or similar container orchestration platforms, including deploying, scaling, and operating services in production.

You can independently own projects end-to-end , from technical design through implementation and operation, while collaborating effectively with engineers across teams.

You care deeply about maintainable, reliable code , make thoughtful technical decisions, and continuously look for ways to improve production systems.

You communicate clearly and confidently , and are comfortable driving technical discussions, influencing decisions, and sharing ideas across teams.

You have a high level of AI fluency and thoughtfully leverage modern tools, including LLMs and AI-assisted development, to improve engineering workflows and problem-solving.
