Remote flexibility
Undisclosed
The listing is advertised as remote but does not state which countries or regions candidates may work from.
Why this role is Undisclosed
We only label a role Work from anywhere, Region restricted or Work from home when the employer's own wording says so. We checked this advert under our current rules and found no country or region eligibility requirement in it. We don't guess, so it stays Undisclosed until the employer publishes enough location information. Here is exactly what the advert left out.
- Countries you can work from: Not stated. The advert only gives "Remote", which names no country you must live in.
- Whether the work is remote: Confirmed by the employer: "100% remote work."
- Working hours: Not stated. No timezone overlap or set hours are mentioned, so assume nothing either way.
Worth a look all the same. Missing wording is usually a rushed job posting rather than a closed door, so ask where you can be based in your first message, before you write a tailored application.
What the employer says
- Source listing states candidate location: "Remote"
What Nomaders makes of it
- No residency or region requirement found in the job description
- Check with the employer before assuming you can work from abroad
The quotes above are the employer's own words; the reading is ours. Always check the original listing and employment terms before working from another country.
Before you apply
Questions worth asking: Nomaders interpretation
- The advert does not say where you can be based. Ask which countries they can legally employ or contract you from.
- No pay is stated. Ask for the salary range before investing time in interviews.
- The advert does not say whether this is employment or a contractor arrangement. Ask, as it affects tax and benefits.

About the role
Every enterprise has two kinds of documents: the ones linked to the right SAP object, and the ones that will never be found again. Our client needs someone who makes sure there’s only one kind.
At DistantJob, we’re looking for an experienced xECM for SAP Solutions Architect for one of our clients, a fast-growing SAP and OpenText consultancy. They help organizations get the most out of their enterprise content by connecting OpenText Extended ECM with the SAP systems that run their business.
This isn’t an ivory-tower architect role. You’ll design the solution, and you’ll also roll up your sleeves to help deliver it. You’ll work directly with our client’s customers, often in industries like energy, oil and gas, and utilities, to turn complex business processes into smart, well-integrated content solutions.
What you’ll be doing
Designing and implementing OpenText Extended ECM solutions integrated with SAP S/4HANA, SAP SuccessFactors, and SAP Business Suite
Leading client conversations to understand business processes and translating them into xECM configurations
Staying hands-on with configuration and technical delivery, not just drawing the architecture
Working in small, focused project teams, usually a project manager, an architect (you!), and a delivery specialist
Acting as a trusted technical advisor to client stakeholders
What we’re looking for
Solid hands-on experience designing and implementing OpenText xECM for SAP
Experience integrating xECM with SAP systems (S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, and/or ECC)
Strong enterprise content management background with OpenText Content Server
Comfort moving between solution design and hands-on delivery
Client-facing consulting experience and excellent English communication skills
An ownership mindset: on small teams, everyone’s impact shows
Bonus points
SAP SuccessFactors consulting experience. If you can wear both the xECM and SuccessFactors hats, we really want to talk to you.
Experience with xECM for SuccessFactors
Experience with clients in energy, oil and gas, or utilities
OpenText or SAP certifications. If you don’t have them yet, our client will support you in getting certified.
What’s in it for you
100% remote work. Our client doesn’t even have an office.
A small, collaborative company where your work is visible and valued
