The Role
As a Data Scientist at Surge, you'll use data to solve problems that are central to how we operate and grow. You'll partner with internal teams to uncover patterns, develop metrics, design experiments, and build tools that turn analysis into action. What We’re Looking for

Strong Problem-Solving Judgment - You can turn an open-ended question into a concrete analytical approach, weigh tradeoffs, and identify what's worth pursuing.
Cross-Functional Collaboration - You enjoy working with operations, engineering, and other teams to understand problems, communicate findings, and turn insights into changes people can use.
SQL and Python Proficiency - You're comfortable writing SQL and Python to analyze data, build pipelines, and prototype workflows. You don't need to be a software engineer, but code is one of your primary tools.
