The quotes above are the employer's own words; the reading is ours. Always check the original listing and employment terms before working from another country.
Before you apply
Experience: employer states
Written as a nice-to-have
- “Law firm, data use/licensing, and fintech experience preferred”
- “Experience with public sector (SLED and/or Federal) sales contracting, such as supporting RFP/RFx responses or government procurement processes, is preferred”
Questions worth asking: Nomaders interpretation
- The advert does not say where you can be based. Ask which countries they can legally employ or contract you from.
- The advert does not say whether this is employment or a contractor arrangement. Ask, as it affects tax and benefits.

Why Socure?
Socure is building the identity trust infrastructure for the digital economy — verifying 100% of good identities in real time and stopping fraud before it starts. The mission is big, the problems are complex, and the impact is felt by businesses, governments, and millions of people every day.
We hire people who want that level of responsibility. People who move fast, think critically, act like owners, and care deeply about solving customer problems with precision. Job Summary
Socure's legal team is seeking a Commercial Counsel. We offer an exciting, fast-paced company environment, with a shared mission to eliminate identity fraud and lead the identity verification market.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about their work, enjoys taking ownership of projects, and is skilled at identifying pragmatic solutions. Socure's Legal team is part of the Financial Operations Center of Excellence organization, and we pride ourselves on best-in-class legal counsel contributing to Socure's mission to eliminate identity fraud.
