About the program

Preply AI Talent Accelerator is Preply's first engineering internship — a 6-month paid program for AI-native builders at the very start of their careers. You will join one product team as a contributing engineer, work on real problems on the same roadmap as everyone else, and ship an AI-driven project that reaches millions of language learners and tutors worldwide.

We're selecting 5 interns for the first cohort. Top performers will be considered for reserved junior engineering positions at the end of the program.

What you'll do

Month 1 — Onboard and contribute Learn your team's domain and codebase while shipping small, real tasks from the team roadmap.

Weeks 6–8 — Scope your AI project With your dedicated mentor, define a one-page project brief: the problem, why AI-driven, the success metric, the milestones.

Months 2–5.5 — Build and ship Execute your project alongside regular team roadmap work. A meaningful, measurable result in production by ~month 5.5.

Month 6 — Final Weeks & Demo Day Present your project results to a committee of Preply directors and the CTO. Top performers will receive full-time junior engineering offers.

Who we're looking for

3rd–6th year university student in a technical field (mathematics, computer science, physics) — or a recent graduate — or up to 2 years of work experience;

Working knowledge of at least one language: Python, Java, Go, JavaScript, or similar

English proficiency at B2 or above;
