The Role

We are looking for a hands-on Senior Accountant to own day-to-day accounting, monthly reporting, and ERP activities for Oyster entities around the world, with a focus on LATAM coverage. You will combine rigorous accounting judgment with proactive stakeholder management, lead close and audit activities, investigate complex discrepancies, and improve the systems and processes that keep a distributed finance function accurate and scalable.

Key Responsibilities

Manage full-cycle accounting and intercompany transactions for global subsidiaries.

Prepare and review financial statements and balance-sheet reconciliations across multiple entities.

Lead month-end and year-end close activities, maintaining clear checklists and documentation.

Coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual local statutory filings and provide complete support packages.

Oversee local statutory audits and resolve auditor questions and adjustments.

Reconcile local statutory records to the ERP

Conduct financial analysis, identify trends or discrepancies, and present decision-useful insights.

Own assigned ERP activities and improve accounting standards, controls, documentation, and automation.

Proactively coordinate dependencies across Finance, Payroll, Tax, Legal, and external partners.

Execute ad hoc financial projects and support junior teammates with practical guidance.

·CPA (or part-qualified) or an equivalent professional accounting qualification.
·Strong knowledge of multi-entity accounting, intercompany transactions, financial reporting, reconciliations, close, and audit support.
·Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and manipulation of large datasets.
·Meticulous attention to detail and a logical, evidence-based approach to problem solving.
