✅ What you will be working on/responsible for

Be LocalStack's visible face in the developer community. Maintain a consistent, high-cadence speaking presence at the meetups, conferences, and community events that matter in San Francisco and broader global developer community, reaching a steady rhythm by the end of Q1.

Build a regular slate of LocalStack events in the region. Plan, host, and run LocalStack gatherings (meetups, workshops, hackathons, developer dinners).

Build ecosystem partnerships through co-created content. Become a known peer to the region's community leaders and dev-tool companies, and co-create content, events, and webinars.

Ship technical content developers use. Publish technical content on a regular cadence (blog posts, tutorials, videos, sample projects), contribute to the docs, and build partner demos or reference integrations that show real developer value and contribute to a broader DevrRel team.

✅ Experience we expect you to bring to the role

5+ years of experience as a Developer Advocacy, Developer Relations, Technical Evangelism, or a comparable outward-facing technical role.

Strong hands on experience in cloud and cloud native development (AWS, Azure, Snowflake, GCP etc)

Experience building meaningful external partnerships through channels such as joint events, co-published content, and webinars.

Experience being a link to a product, engineering and GTM org, delivering valuable market insights and turning them into new product/product features

Familiarity with agentic SDLC workflows and the role of local sandboxes for AI agents
