Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented Energy Rebate Processing Specialist to own the rebate submission function for a growing energy-efficiency and home-services business. Prepare and submit rebate applications to programs such as NYSERDA, Con Edison, EmPower+ / NYHEP, Clean Heat, PSEG Long Island, and National Grid, following each program's specific requirements.

Track the status of all submitted applications and follow up proactively to move them through approval and payment.

Identify and resolve discrepancies, missing documents, and submission errors quickly and independently.

Maintain accurate internal records of all submissions, statuses, and outcomes.

Coordinate with the installation team to ensure documentation is captured at the appropriate stage of each job.

Stay current on program updates, rule changes, and deadlines across all rebate programs.

Support general administrative tasks related to the rebate function as needed.

Self-motivated and efficient, with the ability to manage a high volume of submissions without close supervision.

Genuine comfort with high-volume administrative work.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work closely with leadership in a small, tight-knit team.
