About the role
About the Team
The IT Core Finance squad owns and runs the information systems that power Doctolib's Finance function across France, Germany, Italy and the Netherlands: Accounting (GL, AP, AR), Sourcing & Procurement, Travel & Expenses, Treasury, FP&A, Consolidation, Internal Control and Internal Audit. The squad's stack centers on SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud, SAP Integration Suite and SAP BTP, alongside Pivot, Concur, Egencia, and Spendesk, plus integrations into business-critical systems like Workday and Zuora.
About the Role
As IT Squad Lead, you'll be the main IT point of contact for Doctolib's Finance business teams, and the direct manager of a 4-person squad building and running the systems that keep Finance running smoothly across our four countries — systems that, in turn, support every healthcare professional and patient who relies on Doctolib.
You'll set the technical direction for a critical part of our information system, shape a quarterly roadmap that leadership relies on, and grow a squad you'll help shape from day one. It's a rare mix — hands-on enough to stay close to the architecture your team ships, senior enough to negotiate trade-offs directly with Finance leadership, and high-impact enough that your calls shape how smoothly Finance runs across four countries.
We're looking for someone genuinely energized by that mix — as comfortable running an architecture review as a steering committee, and excited to build both a system and a team with real autonomy.
What You'll Do
Lead the squad
Directly manage 4 people: hire, onboard, coach and develop the team.
Act as a business partner to Finance teams, not a pure IT executor.
Lead multiple projects at once, owning end-to-end delivery within scope, budget and timeline.
Own the roadmap and the budget
Translate the Core Finance IT strategic plan into a quarterly roadmap: identify, prioritize and resource projects.
Own project and squad budgets, and keep financial commitments on track.
Run steering committees and keep stakeholders and sponsors consistently informed.
Own the technical architecture
Own the architecture of the Finance IS landscape (SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud, SAP Integration Suite, SAP BTP): evaluate design alternatives, run architecture reviews, spot areas of improvements and risks .
Manage technical debt and raise the bar on quality and reliability: testing standards, monitoring/alerting, incident response and post-mortems.
Be the squad's AI champion — bring in the right AI tooling for configuration, testing, documentation and planning, and set the standard for using it responsibly.
Drive tools, process and change
Own projects spanning process transformation and tool implementation: ERP configuration, integrations, automations.
Steer discovery and configuration on new modules, and coach engineers through implementation.
Structure support and training on Finance tools: SAP S/4HANA, Concur, Egencia, SAP Integration Suite, Pivot.
Document configuration decisions and implementation choices so the team's knowledge compounds.
Requirements
- ·These are the must-haves — we're looking for real strength across all of them, not a partial match:
- ·Proven people leadership: you've hired, coached and developed a team — formally or as a lead-without-title — ideally 3+ people.
- ·Deep Finance ERP knowledge: end-to-end grasp of P2P, AP, AR, GL, Assets and Expenses, with hands-on fluency in SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud and working knowledge of SAP Integration Suite and SAP BTP.
- ·A strong delivery track record: you've led multiple complex ERP/Finance transformation projects on scope, budget and timeline, in a fast-paced international environment.
- ·Strategic and decisive: you can turn a strategic plan into an executable quarterly roadmap, make scope/budget trade-off calls, and run steering committees with senior stakeholders.
Benefits
- ·Free health insurance for you and your children
- ·ParentCare Program: Enjoy full salary coverage (100%) during your first month of birth leave, and 75% during the second, covered by Doctolib
- ·Free mental health and coaching services through our partner Moka.care
- ·For caregivers and workers with disabilities, a package including an adaptation of the remote policy, extra days off for medical reasons, and psychological support
- ·Work from abroad for up to 10 days per year thanks to our flexibility days policy
