About the role
About the Role
This is a zero-to-one commercial role at an early-stage healthtech AI company building reimbursement automation for interventional specialties. You will own the entire go-to-market motion for medical device OEMs, working directly with the founding team to define the ideal customer profile, close the first enterprise accounts, and shape product-market fit.
What You'll Do
Source OEM leads and open relationships across market access and reimbursement teams.
Run discovery sessions to map OEM workflows and identify where the platform fits.
Develop a clear ideal customer profile and build a repeatable sales playbook from scratch.
Own OEM accounts from first call through signed contract and ongoing relationship.
Attend key industry conferences and build community partnerships to expand reach.
Research opportunities across procurement, market access intelligence, and reimbursement infrastructure.
Partner with cross-functional teams to translate OEM needs into product and commercialization priorities.
What We're Looking For
2 to 7 years of experience working within or alongside medical device companies.
Direct exposure to reimbursement, market access, or health economics and outcomes research.
Strong understanding of the OEM ecosystem, including decision-making cycles, budgeting, and how reimbursement risk affects commercial outcomes.
Experience in endovascular, cardiovascular, or interventional radiology specialties is strongly preferred.
Cross-functional exposure across market access, reimbursement, supply chain, or R&D.
Familiarity with the US healthcare system, including payer and coverage dynamics.
Comfortable actively incorporating AI tools into day-to-day workflows.
Willing to travel to conferences and meet customers in person as needed.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary range: $130,000 to $200,000 USD annually , plus meaningful equity. Visa sponsorship is not available.
Location
Hybrid role based in New York City, NY . Candidates located elsewhere in the United States will also be considered, with a preference for major US hubs. In-person availability is expected when needed, along with some travel to industry conferences.
